Kali Compton's DKP System (submitted by Avarim at 03:29pm MST) Simple Version Gain----------------------- For every boss killed, the players earn DKP based on the items that drop and are sold to players. Items that are disenchanted will yield no DKP. Players unable to make the raid due to the player limit, but still available to raid, otherwise known as being listed or out of combat (OOC), will gain DKP as well. Loss----------------------- DKP is used in an open bidding system for non-tier token pieces. We utilize a mod (KaliClient) to help in visualizing the current bidders/top bidders. The price you bid is the price you pay for the auctioned item. For tier token pieces, your DKP is used in a weighted roll. Depending on how much DKP you have, your odds in the roll increase. For example if player A has 10 DKP and player B has 50 DKP, we setup a roll between 0 and 60. If the roll lands in the 1-10 range, player A wins the item, if it lands between 11 and 60, player B will win the item. Rolled items have set prices so everyone will lose an equal amount on the same tokens. Detailed Information----------------------- The formula used to distribute DKP is as follows (item level)/18 rounded down The minimum bid for auctioned items is half the item level rounded up to the nearest 10s. Token prices are currently set at ((item level)/2) + 10 rounded up Trophy of the Crusade is set at 150 DKP. ICC Tier 10 items are priced at item level (264 and 277 respectively) Rank----------------------- Recruits/Civilians are unable to bid against members. However we will not disenchant loot if it can go to a player, so if a recruit/civilian want an item to be DE'ed it will be handled fairly. Wrath of the Lich King Naxx drops item level 213 items except Kel'Thuzad: ilvl 226 (non-token) Malygos: ilvl 226 2 Drake Sartharion: Single ilvl 226 item with three ilvl 213 items Ulduar drops items between ilvl 226 and 232 generally with a few 239 items. Normal Trial of the Crusader drops items at level 245 Heroic Trial of the Crusader drops items at level 258 Using the above formula for DKP: Naxx Quality ilvl 213 gives 11 DKP Ulduar Quality ilvl 226 gives 12 DKP ilvl 232 gives 12 DKP ToC Quality ilvl 245 gives 13 DKP ilvl 258 gives 14 DKP ICC Quality ilvl 264 gives 14 DKP ilvl 277 gives 15 DKP Alternate Characters Alternate characters (alts) gain DKP separately from their main character. Alts are treated as a new member basically with the same rolling rights as main characters however they do not have the rolling power of their main character behind them as KC had historically had in the past, meaning all the DKP lumped into a single pool for all their alts. Exceptions Epic loot derived from trash does not give DKP to listed players. Various items such as Ashes of Alar/Bags which have no effect on the player are typically rolled using the lifetime value of DKP earned on a character with 0 DKP value. With the onset of multiple runs per week. Each character you have is limited to DKP for only one of the runs per week regardless of getting into each of the raids or not. |

Administrative Stuff (submitted by Avarim at 02:15pm MST) DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT HERE Download the dkp.lua: HERE To Do: - Working on DKP bonus stuff - (Xiven) PTrack (Ulduar I hope, might be 3.2 though) - (Perceus) Hack EQDKP to accept itemID - Usability of KaliDKP ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quirks: - Not all characters had main/alt DKP separation, I only separated about the top 300 characters or so. There are a lot of characters with low values of DKP floating around with alts. - Invisible/Non-Automatically created character bug. Sometimes players won't show up in the standings but they show up in events. They're "invisible" of sorts. The quick fix is to create a new character, then transfer the member history of the original character to the new character. After that you can rename the new character to the original character's name. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adding Raids/Items - DKP given out is based on the items that are bought. For every ilvl 213 item, 11 DKP is awarded. All bosses except Kel'Thuzad, Malygos, and possibly a 2 drake Sartharion award ilvl 213 items. KT awards two ilvl213 (helms) and three ilvl 226 items and Malygos awards four ilvl 226 items so their max amount are 58 and 48 respectively. - Any item disenchanted gets bought by the player named Disenchanter for 0 DKP. - Trash awards 11 DKP per item and I put in the people who were at the boss just prior to the trash kill unless raid composition changed. No OOC DKP is given for trash. - OOC is a raid created with the OOC Boss event. - Items won't have WoWHead mouseover until you click the item for the first time |
